SULTAN MAHMUD, Managing Director

JS TRADING COMPANY LIMITED

Born

SULTAN MAHMUD comes of a respectable Muslim family of Muksudpur on July 15, 1967. He is birthed by Bangladesh. His father’s name is Late Alhaj Jalal Ahmed Who was a respected personality among the people of Dohar. He was very prominent person in shipbuilding.

Early career

After completion education Mr. SULTAN MAHMUD did not try to have any government job rather, he engaged himself with business. His business units are M/S.S.Mahmud Shipping Line, M/S TSUBASA Marine as Proprietor, he is also Managing Director of Rangpur Ice and cold storage Ltd.

Mr. SULTAN MAHMUD is president of JS Trading company Ltd. He stays in Japan for long time. He has good relation with various Japanese entrepreneur, His shipbuilding career almost 36 years, He traveled various country of the world. He was involved in marine engine genset business for last 25 years. He is also president of JBDSL ( Japan Bangladesh Dockyard & Shipbuilders Limited) . In 2023 he is declared CIP ( Commercially Important Person) by Bangladesh Government He is also president of JBDSL ( Japan Bangladesh Dockyard & Shipbuilders Limited)

Social Contribution.

SULTAN MAHMUD is playing vital role in social welfare related works. He is related with founding and development of educational institutions. He patronized to establish many social organizations and helped thousands of people for treatment. He helped many poor people to avail housing facility, many poor students in their education and marriage of many poor brides. He helped to promote a college in his locality named Padma Collage, Dohar, he donated every year to develop this college. Besides these, SULTAN MAHMUD is known to have donated substantially in the development of a number of mosques, madrasha and orphanages. In 2023 he is declared as a CIP ( Commercially important person) by Bangladesh Government.
